This one’s title means ‘fence post’ in German. It seems to me, the meaning of this piece is just a little too obvious, but oh well. At the time I was too angry to be witty.

I created triangular forms out of paper clay and let them dry for a few days. Then I glued them onto the substrate and additionally secured them with a staple gun in several places from the back side of the board. After some gesso, I used encaustics to create the textured surface and the melting effect.
